Before & After Care
In order to meet the needs of working parents, Our Lady of Peace is pleased to offer a Before & After Care Program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.
Kindergarteners are eligible for Before Care, while only full-day kindergarteners can attend After Care. Before & After Care is not open to preschoolers.
Before & After Care provides a safe and caring environment for students before school from 7 to 8:00 a.m. and after school from 3:15 to 6 p.m. The program takes place Monday through Friday on days when school’s in session. On half days, Before & After Care does not operate. Not available during the summer months.
Parents are responsible for a snack for their child if they wish the child to have a snack during the before or after care hours.
Before & After Care is supervised by OLP teachers and allows for children to participate in a variety of activities. Time is set aside for a snack, physical activity and homework time.
For the majority of their time, the children will be in the preschool room. In order to facilitate other activities, the gym, library, and computer lab are utilized as well.
Our program is used by working parents as well as by parents who use the program on an as-needed basis.
All families wishing to participate in the Before & After Care Program must pay a non-refundable yearly $25 registration fee. This fee will be deducted from the participating family’s ACH Debit account.
The daily fee for Before School Care only is $6 (7-8:00 a.m.). The daily fee for After School Care is $8.00 (3:15-4:30 p.m.) or $16 (3:15-6 p.m.).
