At a recent Nazareth Academy auction dinner, (20) former/current parents of Our Lady of Peace students had two full tables of OLP parents. Some of the parents met each other when our kids started OLP kindergarten (16) years ago and have remained close friends! Not only have the parents stayed friends, but the students too! Our Lady of Peace school provided an excellent quality education and commitment to the Catholic faith. Many of these students continued in the sports and extracurricular activities that were introduced to them in grade school. Nazareth welcomes the graduates from Our Lady of Peace because of their positive reputation for manners and academic preparation for high school.

Before Our Lady of Peace, we attended another catholic school and were not happy with the education our children were receiving. In the 6 months we've been at OLP, the positive changes we have seen in both of our children has been amazing! They have both improved in every subject, have many friends and a lot more confidence. The teachers and support staff are truly here for the children and love what they do!

I have had 2 children attend OLP. My oldest son graduated in 2014 and my youngest is currently in 7th grade. Both attended from kindergarten on. The education is, by far, the best in the area and my now freshman was more than well prepared. There is a strong sense of family and belonging at this school. I hadn't even considered another school when it was time for my kids to start. I highly recommend OLP and can speak from experience: the education is second to none and the students are challenged. In addition, there are outstanding athletic programs at OLP. This school exemplifies traditional catholic values, which are of great importance to me.

Ms Mosquera. She Rocks. In fact our experience so far, kindergarten through second grade, has been just awesome!
Cindy & Mike Santay:
"We are fortunate to have found Our Lady of Peace when we moved to Downers Grove in 1988. Our children began attending Our Lady of Peace School in 1994 and we have two graduates so far – in 2003 and 2008, and one more to go! The themes that define our experience at Our Lady of Peace are faith, family and foundation for the future.
"We have seen our faith deepen and grow through praying together at school masses, experiencing the sacraments, and sharing good and tough times with OLP priests, administration and teachers, and the host of volunteer families. And we have seen our children grow and learn not only the importance of math and science and English but also the importance of service and sacrifice and support for each other that have proved invaluable as they have moved on to high school and college."
Kathy & Fred Schafer, OLP Grandparents:
"Through our grandchildren, we have seen that Catholic education is alive and thriving. We have attended many activities at Our Lady of Peace, and as retired educators, we know that OLP offers an excellent education both academically and spiritually."
Colleen & Mark Chorazyczewski:
"We chose a Catholic education at Our Lady of Peace for three reasons. We felt the principal, teachers and curriculum were the best in the Western Suburbs. We wanted a faith based education that would emphasize the values we were teaching our children at home.
"As teachers ourselves, we were impressed with the performance of OLP graduates in high school. Now that our children are in Junior High at OLP, it is evident that all of those pieces of the puzzle are there. Our children are excelling academically, spiritually, socially and through their extra-curricular activities. We couldn’t be happier to be part of the OLP community."
OLP is growing quickly with our 3 and 4 year old preschool programs. They both fill up quickly. Be sure to register your child early to get a slot for next school year.
As partners in education at Our Lady of Peace Catholic School, God calls us as Parish, School, and Family to be the light of Christ to our students.
By nurturing their Faith, we provide a strong academic foundation anchored in Catholic Spirituality.
